The call for Olympic surfing this Saturday, August 3, was delayed more than two hours from what was scheduled and determined that at 9:45 the conditions would be evaluated for a possible start at 12 noon.

A beginning that, according to weather models, will probably not take place.

As you can see, Saturday the 3rd is the worst of the three days that follow. Sunday improves a little and Monday improves considerably.

What is expected to be challenging for the organisers is to play it on Monday afternoon, which is when a significant change in conditions is really seen. That is, in the last hours of the last possible day to hold the tournament.
