The classic Cabo Blanco tubing event is back this season

This was announced by the legendary Peruvian, former world champion and experienced wave surfer, Magoo de la Rosa

The waves of Cabo Blanco will host a tube championship for the first time after several years of the extinct event that was held annually there, reported on his Instagram the legendary Peruvian surfer, former world champion and great connoisseur of the aforementioned wave, Magoo de la Rosa.

"I have the pleasure of announcing the relaunch of the classic northern Peruvian championship 'Electric Cabo Blanco Tuberiders Invitational 2020'. This emblematic event is the most anticipated by all tube riders and is one of the most prestigious in the art of tube racing in the world," De la Rosa wrote on his Instagram, which he illustrated with the poster that can be seen below.

The waiting period for waves to take place will run from January 1 to February 29.

The classic Cabo Blanco event saw some of the most classic and memorable moments of competitive surfing in Peru, along with the Pico Alto and La Herradura events, they make up a sort of Triple Crown of epic waves that Peru has to offer.
