The clip of the newest Peruvian discovery, "Escalones", is available
The Box in Peru, but for the left and for the right. With Gabriel Villarán and Miguel Tudela
It's not every day that a perfect slab is discovered in these times of the year, so crowded with surfers. However, if that wave were placed in the middle of Lima, there would be few people who would surf it; two of them are undoubtedly Gabriel Villarán and Miguel Tudela, who went somewhere in Peru to find it.
It is noticeable that the tide plays an important role because at times the wave breaks very high above the rocks and it becomes impossible to surf it. When it settles, a perfect peak forms, which forms a square tube well above the rocks.
"First mission in the new wave 'Escalones' AKA 'La Cocó'. Not easy to read, but definitely solid potential. Thanks to everyone who made this baptism possible," Villarán wrote when sharing the video.
