The first images of Joao Chianca surfing again

For some reason, the Rio photographers and filmmakers uploaded several images of the 4th of the world but they were deleting them, leaving this video

Videos and photos were posted yesterday Sunday on social media of the current world number 4, Joao Chianca surfing some fun right-handers at a point in Rio.

The Brazilian was seen surfing well, executing good maneuvers with power and precision, as he has always been characterized.

Three posts were made on Instagram about the Brazilian, two by Jori Queiroz and one by Ivo Jr. One of Queiroz's and the other by Ivo were deleted.

The one seen below Queiroz remained.

Chianca said in an interview with Stab that everything indicates that he will be back in one or two months at 100%.

“I want to be 100% fit for the Olympics. But this injury has taught me that I can’t put a date on anything. The process is still delicate. Every day is a victory, but there are also defeats. You can take five steps forward and the next day maybe two steps back. I’m learning to be patient with myself and not push myself too hard. I’ll need to be patient and understanding with myself during this process. I don’t know exactly when that will be, but I’ll be ready to be a full-time competitor soon.”
