Surfing began in Santiago 2023 in well-formed overhead waves breaking on the sides of the Punta de Lobos hills.

The schedule is as follows:
longboard men 3 heats
longboard women 3 heats
shortboard women 8 heats
shortboard men 8 heats
SUP surf men 3 heats
SUP Surf women 3 heats

Below are some photos from the morning:

Agostina Pellizzari hanging all five to move into second place in her series.
Martín Pérez also hanging up the five to get into round 2.
Chloe Calmon won her series but she didn't shine as she knows how, she scored about 7 points.
Chilean Samantha Wilson hung the five well on this wave but could not beat Chloe and Sindy and fell to the repechage.
Leilani McGonagle gave the best female performance.
He attacked the heavy sections to score more than 15 points.
And he also carved.
Coral Bonilla, not accustomed to the cold, fell into the repechage.
Mafer Reyes got the best score on the longboard, 15 points, a 9 and a 6.
Piccolo was the best among the male longboarders.
The sea is good in Punta de Lobos, as Julián Schweizer says.
