The North Shore definitely woke up over the weekend. It was its first wake-up of the season and it produced several of the best waves but Pipe stole the show.

And with the locals hungry there were good performances in the queen of the waves.

But it wasn't just Pipe, he also broke Sunset (where he finished a QS 1000 in epic conditions) and several of the other waves.
