Ethan Ewing and Italo Ferreira rounded out the WSL 2024 Finals draw, which will take place in Lower Trestles, California on a day between September 6 and 14.

Yago Dora's failure to qualify for the semis ended up determining that Italo, who was eliminated from the event in the round of 16, was not surpassed and that Ethan, who is already in, cannot be surpassed.

With this, the five male finalists are: John John Florence, who is known to go first, Griffin Colapinto, Jack Robinson, Italo Ferreira and Ethan Ewing.

This is the first time in the history of the finals, since they were created three years ago, that two Brazilians out of the five competitors did not make it.

In 2021 there were Ferreira, Medina and Toledo and Medina won.

In 2022 there was Italo and Toledo and Toledo won.

In 2023, Chianca and Toledo were there and Toledo won.
