There will be waves in El Rosario during all days of the surfing competition at the Central American Games, which will take place between October 16 and 21.

According to the specialized website Surfline, the sea will start out shallow (by El Rosario standards) with 1 to 3 feet of water on October 16 and good conditions, then gradually rise.

The 17th will break with 2 to 4 feet and a period of 16 and the 18th will be the biggest day with waves reaching up to 6 feet, the size increases but the period decreases and the conditions remain good throughout the day.

On the 19th and 20th, the waves break with 3 to 5 waves and good conditions, closing on the 21st with a little less size and good conditions.

El Rosario is an extremely sensitive wave, and any incoming swell is welcomed with open arms, with waves that even break larger than the forecast says.
