The four finalists of the Quiksilver Young Guns 2019 are Leo Casal, Jett Schilling, Levi Slawson and Luke Swanson, Stab magazine reported via its Instagram stories.

According to the rankings, Brazilian Leo Casal was the most voted by the public out of the eight selected finalists, Swanson was Ezekiel Lau's choice, Slawson was Mikey Wright's choice and Schilling was also chosen by Wright but as a substitute for Kanoa Igarashi who they say arrived late for his delivery date.

15-year-old Leo Casal won the pro junior stage of the WSL in Iquique this year and competed in the El Gringo event, where he took home some great waves.

These four will now go to the grand world final to be held in Ericeira between 1 and 9 November.

The winner will take home $10.000.
