"It is very likely" that the event will take place tomorrow, Monday

The WSL has placed a yellow alert for its finals, meaning it is highly likely that the world champion will be crowned tomorrow, the organization's commissioner Jessi Miley Dyer said on the live broadcast.

The waves at Lowers were fun due to the size of the head, but they are expected to grow throughout the day and especially tomorrow.

The South Pacific showed several signs of the powerful swell that is entering California with giant waves breaking in Chile and Peru. Today even the classic La Herradura event began.

There will be three days of waves 13, 14 and 15 from which they will have to choose the one with the least sea wind in the afternoon, the other commissioner, Renato Hickel, told WSL Brazil.

The series between Steph Gilmore and Johanne Defay will be the first to go into the water.
