El Salvador International: From the Philippines to Venezuela in 90 seconds
Passing through Costa Rica, Mexico and Panama, among other nations; filmed in Punta Roca and La Bocana
Special coverage presented by Surf City El Salvador
Young Chilean professional surfer Nicolás Díaz has spent much of the year in El Salvador, training, visiting friends and filming.
Last week he suffered an injury and decided to dedicate his time to filming. In this edit, in addition to making it clear that the quality of the waves he missed was excellent, he underlines that the international atmosphere is already in the air.
Featured in these waves are: Dylan Southworth from Mexico, John Mark Tokong from the Philippines, Keoni Lasa from Venezuela, Lolo Bellorin also from Venezuela, Alan Cleland from Mexico, Oli Camarena from Panama, Leilani McGonagle from Costa Rica and a couple of other surfers not yet identified.
"Since I was injured, I was out of the water for 10 days and I took advantage of the opportunity to do some material with several of the boys from the national teams," Nico Díaz told DUKE.
