“The left of El Buey has to be one of the best waves in the world”

Miguel Tudela says it and proves it with a video of an epic bomb that knocks him out from start to finish

Miguel Tudela, the man who achieved what no one else in history has done after winning five or six or seven consecutive WSL Latin America events, is recovering from a knee injury and surgery and has time to look back and reflect on the matter.

His latest post is quite categorical: “The left of El Buey has to be one of the best waves in the world” and Miguel is seen going down an overhead four and doing a long tube, then another and then aborting safely and precisely.

In that session a few years ago they compared the wave to Thunder Cloud, that is, the outside of Cloudbreak that broke recently, and it is a fair comparison.

There are few places where a left-hander of such size breaks and maintains perfection as in the outer that breaks in front of the Arica hotel that hosted Andy Irons and Kelly Slater in 2007.

Precisely on that occasion, more than one CT surfed the left of the Ox.

Another who took a legendary tube in El Buey was Toto de Romaña, in an incredible situation a couple of years ago
