Panama will defend its home turf at the Pan American Surfing Championships with a strong, complete team, the Panamanian Surfing Association announced this Thursday afternoon.

The full team of 20 competitors is a mix of experience and new blood; for example, in the open men's category there is the former ISA silver medallist, Oli Camarena and the current ALAS youth champion, Tao Rodríguez.

In the same vein, the young Isauro Elizondo is accompanied by an experienced Diego Salgado.

Multiple national champion Samanta Alonso is the most prominent surfer among the ladies, accompanied by Isabella Goodwin, Andre Vlieg and Evelyn Chávez.

Tao and his consistency, you know he's going to score a ton of points for his team.
