The maneuver of the week: Bryan Pérez flying and rotating high

The Salvadoran did not rest with the Pan American medal and continued to evolve

With the bronze medal in Lima 2019, Bryan Pérez shook up the sport of his country, he shook up himself too, he was surely surprised after arriving as the worst  pre-qualified and finish on top of the podium.

He received a luxurious welcome at the airport, the press came to meet him and he received the affection of the people.

After all that happened, Bryan went into the water to try a move he didn't have in his arsenal yet.

This is how he tells it: “I didn’t practice the maneuver much, I was watching it on videos, I told myself to try it to see if I could do it. I started trying and trying but I fell behind the wave and recently, about three days ago, I did one in Punta Roca but the tip sank, I knew I was close. From then on I practiced it more and more and I did it two days ago, in El Zonte. I did the maneuver, I couldn’t believe it, I was super happy.”
