Uruguayan Marco Giorgi is very comfortable with the Portuguese waves. He won his first and only QS victory in this country a couple of years ago. He is friends with several of the best, such as Nico Von Rupp and Miguel Blanco, and the abundance of waves allows him to show the best of his surfing.
Yesterday, while practicing for the series he competed in today at the 10.000m in Ericeira, he sent this aerial high.
Contacted by DUKE about the maneuver, he said: "I was already hungry, wanting to get out of the water and that came, it felt super fluid."
It looks fluid.
