The maneuver of the week: Tommy López Moreno giving it his all once again
The Argentine power surfer managed to be part of the section for the second time with a similar maneuver

About four years ago, when this section existed on Surfline in Spanish, Argentine Tomás López Moreno was the protagonist of it with a layback kick that he managed to recover successfully.
Yesterday, in a classic Yacht breaking, he got back into the section but with the added bonus of putting so much pressure that he turned 360 degrees doing it. A maneuver worthy of Dane Reynolds in the middle of Mar del Plata post-quarantine.
"The maneuver came out when I saw that the wave was going to close, it wasn't a very still wall so I saw that the section that closed I did the layback and when I did it I buried the tip. With this I kept my footing so as not to get stuck and then I realized that I was stepping too hard, that's why the board started to go sideways and out of nowhere I realized that I was doing a reverse so I stayed crouched and there I appeared in the foam and the wave carried me and I ended up completing the movement," the Mar del Plata native told DUKE.
