Leilani, Daniella, Juliana and Silvana, from Costa Rica, Peru and Brazil twice, will be the medalists in the women's category of the 2026 Pan American Surf Championship being held in Playa Venao, Panama.

Leilani will go against Daniella and the two Brazilians will face each other to define who fights for the gold that qualifies for Lima 2027.

On the men's side, it was a long day and especially good for the Costa Ricans, who advanced two of the six remaining in the event: Samuel Reidy and Carlos Muñoz. The other four qualifiers were Thiago Passeri of Argentina, Douglas Silva of Brazil, Lucca Mesinas of Peru, and Alex Suárez of Ecuador.

This is how round 5 turned out:

The event had a very early start today, at 6am, and was played all day in good conditions until rain and a thunderstorm stopped the ladies' round, which found a window to carry out the last series of the day and define the semis.

The races, which were scheduled for today, were also not held, and because the schedule has been reduced, a final with all competitors will be held tomorrow.

The schedule has not yet been released.
