Two sessions and six high and controlled flights, on video

In 2017, when he won the ISA Junior World Title in Japan, Nacho Gundensen relied on one of his main fundamentals: Powerful base-to-lip surfing, one of his main weapons.

With that he was able to win the title, but he knows that there is much more to his surfing: The aerial game is one of his skills that he is increasingly looking at.

This video, filmed by the surfer's coach, Kleber Cavalcanti, was made in two surfing sessions, one in Mole and the other in Matadeiro, in Florianópolis, Brazil, where the Argentinean trains. They were two days of southerly wind, ideal for left-hand aerials, he told DUKE.

Asked about his goals, Gundensen said that now that the wind was going to turn from the other quadrant, he would train backside aerials and that his goal at the moment is to "improve my technique," although, it must be said, it looks very good.
