In Olympic style, Lower Trestles was completely cleared mid-morning today for the 10 finalists who had the wave to themselves in two heats.

First training series: John John, Caroline Marks, Jack Robinson, Molly Picklum and Italo Ferreira.

Second training series: Griffin Colapinto, Tatiana Weston Webb, Ethan Ewing, Caitlin Simmers and Brisa Hennessy.

They were all highlights but at this size Italo did crazy things and Griffin was inspired; they were two of the highlights.
