"The best wave I've ever surfed, longer and more perfect," said Gabriel Medina about Pacasmayo after getting out of the water and talking to a local.

The Brazilian three-time world champion was happy to surf in Peru a few days ago and he said it clearly in this video.

Got an attack mission in mind but haven’t gotten around to pulling the trigger? The next four and a half minutes might be just the push you need. Join Gabriel Medina as he embarks on his own version of the quest and scores on a ridiculously long left point break. After a mammoth year competing on the Championship Tour and a podium spot at the Paris 2024 Olympics, the 3-time world surfing champion has earned his off-season. Ditching the competition rashguard, Gabe takes a more playful approach to surfing, embracing new cultures.

Filmed by Lucas Balbino, 'Terra Das Esquerdas', or 'Land of The Lefts' for non-Spanish speakers, is the result of a last-minute decision to hop on a plane to chase a swell. At its core, this clip captures a feeling that every surfer can relate to: the need to gather your crew, drop everything, and go out in search of good waves," the video's producers describe.
