The two 10.000 events held in Europe were won by a Pupo, Pantín by Miguel and Ericeira by Samuel. The Pupo are now 60.000 dollars richer but more importantly, they earned the 20.000 points that were available in the two tournaments.
Samuel Pupo jumped 30 positions in the ranking and entered the qualification zone, although he still needs to make one more move.
There are four surfers who have already qualified: Andre, Miguel Pupo, Alex Ribeiro and Yago Dora, the rest, from 5 to 80, have a chance to make a splash in Hawaii.
Costa Rican national hero Carlos Muñoz fell from 12th to 16th place and will have to get about 6.000 clean in Hawaii (that is, taking out the discards).
