Maximiliano Cross, Guillermo Satt, Leon de la Torre, Juninho Urcia, Roberto Araki, Esteban Cross, Noel de la Torre and Nicolás Undurraga will decide tomorrow the title in the men's open of the Maui and Sons Viña del Mar Pro.

In the junior category, the tournament will be decided between all Chileans, with Noel de la Torre facing Tomás Bock in semi-finals 1, and Leon de la Torre and Nicolás Díaz in semi-finals 2.

The women's final was finally decided between local Lorena Fica and Brazilian Karol Ribeiro. Josefina Vidueira and Paloma Santos finished tied for third place.

The sea improved today in Sector 5, the waves reached a metre with force at the best moments.

The best performance of the day was by the local Maximiliano Cross who scored more than 15 points. Another who stood out was Selman in round 3, scoring 14 points, but later fell to the clutches of the 14-year-old Noel de la Torre in round 4.

The defending champion of the event, Juninho Urcia, also broke through with a solid 13,5 after filling several of the waves he chose with his characteristic, fast and fluid surfing maneuvers.

The tournament starts again tomorrow at 12 noon, the waves are expected to improve with the arrival of a swell from the south.
