The second ALAS will take place in Barranca, Peru, at the end of February
Located 175 kilometers north of Lima, it will be the first time in history that an international surfing tournament takes place there.

The second stage of the 2019 Latin American surfing circuit will take place between February 27 and March 2 for the first time on the waves of Barranca, 175 kilometers north of Lima.
It will be a three-star event in the open men's category, which will distribute 25.000 dollars and will also have the Open Women's, Junior, Longboard, SUP, SUP Race and Bodyboard categories.
Three Peruvians have already registered for the tournament: the current leader of the ranking, Juninho Urcia, the representative of Peru in Lima 2019, María Fernanda Reyes, and the young Sergio Alcántara.
The beach chosen to host the tournament is called Chorrillos, where the waves are predominantly right-handers, although there are also left-handers.
