The super swell in Tahiti through the eyes and surfing of the Colapinto brothers
"The worst wipeout of my life," Griffin said, but they also took a few hits.
Griffin and Crosby Colapinto showed what kind of surfers they are in the run-up to the Tahiti Pro, where they rode some waves but also had to pay.
The eldest of the brothers said he got "the worst crash of my life" when he was sucked over the falls on a wave he was towing in from Eli Olson.
"Another event for 2025! Crosby and Griffin had a great time in Tahiti surfing big waves before the competition started. Griffin got swept away by a tow wave and said it was the worst fall of his life!" they caption the video.
Above all, they demonstrated that feeling comfortable in those conditions later served them well in achieving a good result in the event, with Griffin placing second and Crosby third.
