Surf Web Series adds a stop in Australia to its tour
In addition to the one already held in Mexico, the one that begins next week in South Africa and the following in Japan, another one will be held in the land of kangaroos.
The Surf Web Series, the global event organized entirely digitally by the Mexican production company Surf Open League, added Australia as another stop on its tour.
The stage already held in Mexico, which was won by Jafet Ramos, the one that begins next week in South Africa and the Japanese one that will take place in the second half of August, will now be joined by another in one of the countries with the most surfing tradition on the planet, the organizers informed DUKE.
According to the Surf Open League manager, Gustavo Duccini, who spoke to DUKE, the idea of the tour is to complete approximately eight stages and then generate a world final with the best, as well as special bodyboarding and big wave events.
The Australian stop will take place in September.
