Tube of the month: William Aliotti too deep in El Gringo
The Caribbean player left early to train for the QS and is having a great time. He no longer cares how he will do in the tournament.
William Aliotti is not a competitive surfer, quite the opposite, he spends the whole year looking for waves, traveling the world and enjoying just surfing and surfing and surfing.
There is only one stage of the world circuit that he never misses and that keeps bringing him back to the coast of Chile year after year: the Maui and Sons Arica Pro Tour, QS 3000 that he won in 2016 and that somehow has him addicted to the Pipe of South America.
On his social media, Aliotti, who is a man of few words, posted a photo of the wave and wrote: "I've missed you." In the video, it is clear that they get along well.
It's worth noting how deep it is embedded, and it's worth noting that Aliotti is not one to celebrate waves much, but this one was too good.
