The fourth stage of the Uruguayan surfing circuit, the Rip Curl Pro, is already in the waiting period for waves that began on October 31 and runs until October XNUMX. The event will be held on the beach in the department of Maldonado that presents the best conditions.

The Uruguayan ranking is led by Lucas Madrid who has two victories and a second place under his belt. He is followed relatively closely by the multiple champion, Sebastián Olarte, who is just over 400 points behind.

The top 5 is closed by Julián Pérez, Santiago Madrid and the young Máximo Vargas, at a more reasonable distance from the leader.

Meanwhile, one of the best surfers in the history of Uruguay, Luisma Iturria, does not even make it into the top 15 after having a bad result and having missed a stage due to international commitments.

The event will be the fourth of six stages that the Uruguayan Surfing Union planned to hold this year.
