Brazil rounded off an impressive party today in Puerto Rico, minutes after celebrating Medina's victory, it also won the women's extra slot and will be the only country in Paris 2024 with six surfers.
Tatiana Weston Webb needed to win or place second without Nadia Erostarbe winning and that is what happened.
Sally Fitzgibbons won and Weston Webb was second.
Johanne Defay and Nadia Erostarbe completed the podium in third and fourth place.
The team result was decided very narrowly in favor of Brazil: 1755 to 1720.
