The green light has been given for the Pico Alto international
The bombs will break this Saturday in the legendary Peruvian big wave and several of the best in the world will be there
The organizers of the international championship in Pico Alto have just given the green light for it to take place this Saturday, July 7. The forecast looks promising for the quintessential Peruvian big wave to function as required: Giant and perfect.
The guest list for the event includes international names Twiggy Baker, Ramón Navarro, Cristian Merello, Damien Hobgood, Torrey Meister, Felipe Cesarano, Bradley Norris and Nahuel Amalfitano.
And to the locals Toto from Romagna, Alejo Loret de Mola, Jaime Venegas, Miguel Tudela, Sebastian Correa, Gabriel Villaran, Jeronimo Castagnetto, Jose Gomez, Joaquin del Castillo, Gustavo Reategui, Kodiak Semsch, Cristobal de Col, Carlos Mario Zapata, Joaquin Castagnetto, Luis Gomez de la Torre, Gustavo Swayne and Martin Jeri.
The event will award $17.000 in prizes.
