The same swell that lit up the entire North Pacific arrived with a vengeance at Peahi and several of the most courageous surfers on the planet were present for the opening session.

Albee Layer, Kai and Ridge Lenny, Billy Kemper, among others, took to the waves.

With Mavericks, waves at Pipe and Waimea and this session at Jaws, it's safe to say that the Northern Hemisphere season has officially opened.
