A new edition of the South American Youth Championship, which is held annually in Colombia, will take place in Honu Beach, Mar del Plata between March 15 and 20, several people involved with the event informed DUKE.

Surfers from Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Colombia, Brazil and, of course, Argentina are confirmed to participate in the event.

The categories to be contested are Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 in both genders with two surfers per category. That is, a complete selection consists of 12 surfers in addition to the coaches and technical staff.

The Argentine Surfing Association has not yet provided any details about the event.
