These are the Corona Longboard Festival series

More than 50 registrants will honor the first edition of the event

More than 50 people signed up for the first edition of the Corona Longboard Festival, which will begin tomorrow, Thursday, January 6, in the waves of Bikini, Manantiales, which are expected to be perfect.

The draw features 32 men's open tournaments, divided into eight series of four people, 12 grand masters tournaments in three series of four people, and seven women's open tournaments in two series, one of four and one of three.

The event will begin at 8:00 AM and is expected to run all day to crown the champions before Corona Sunset which will begin at 18:30 PM.

Several legendary names of Uruguayan longboarding appear among the entrants: the multiple national champions Antonio Pita, Arnold Glutz and Juan Malek, the classic characters of the nineties events Pablo Leites, Tato Eiris and Andrés Torres; as well as talents such as Lucas Vázquez, the Cordone brothers and Máximo Gattás and the top names of world longboarding such as Julián Schweizer and Nacho Pignataro, among others.

Among the registered ladies are the Mexi Log Fest competitor, Inés Beisso, the vice-champion of La Ola del Otoño, Uma Schweizer, and the member of the Uruguayan surfing team, Sofía Alfonso, among other competitors.
