They will participate in the ALAS global finals against qualifiers from the Americas, Asia, and other invited teams from around the world.
In an interview with DUKE, the president of ALAS said the surfers were impressed with the prize money the top four took home from the European federation event held on the Portuguese beach of Santa Cruz.
Many of the qualified competitors have traveled to El Salvador for a World Championship, but they competed in the La Bocana or El Sunzal areas, but never in Punta Mango, as this will be their first international event in the wave.
