The WSL today published the series of the historic Claro Open Pro Copa Tubos that will begin this Wednesday in Señoritas, Punta Hermosa.
Only five surfers remained to fill the 144-surfer field that the WSL planned for the event. With this scheme, in round 1 there will be five heats of three surfers and three of four.
To add to the excitement, Peru, which is worthy of receiving south swells, will have a dream week for any organizer. So dreamy that it can be challenging because there will be plenty of waves (what day will be better than the best day?).
The most commonly used models show waves between two and four metres, with one wave on Thursday and Friday and another on Sunday, the day of the finals.
