The 18 round 1 heats, six for women and 12 for men, of the Surf City El Salvador Pro were released by the WSL.

Among the ladies, Nadia Erostarbe will face Molly Picklum and Bella Kenworthy in Series 1, and Brisa Hennessy will face Tyler Wright and Luana Silva.

Among the men, local Bryan Pérez will face current No. 1 Italo Ferreira and Australian George Pittar; Mexican Alan Cleland will face Filipe Toledo (ranked 9) and Ian Gouveia.
