The Uruguayan Surf Union announced the competition series for the Corona Pro, the second stage of the 2021-2022 tour that will take place this Saturday in La Paloma.
The event marks the return to national competitions of Marco Giorgi, former top 100 in the world ranking, who will face current stars of Uruguayan surfing, such as Luisma Iturria, Sebastián Olarte, Lucas Madrid and Francisco Morosini.
In addition to the experienced former champions, young talents such as Juanma Aroztegui and Santiago González, local talents from La Paloma such as Pablo Sena, Agustín Zanotta, Agustín Ramallo and Lucas Vázquez entered the main draw.
Other talents who climbed in round 1 are Santiago Medeiro, Santiago Capozzoli, Julián Pérez and Brian Charamelo, among others.
