The organizers of the Puerto Escondido Cup have made public the list of guests for the tournament that will be waiting for waves throughout the month of June. 24 men and six women will compete, and they have a long list of substitutes, which is detailed below.
"The list was defined based on a criterion that considers the performance of each athlete in the last Puerto Escondido Cup, their overall performance in giant waves in Puerto Escondido and their overall performance in giant waves around the world," the statement said.
It is also reported that the tournament director will be legendary shaper and big wave surfer Gary Linden.
