Special coverage of the event is presented by Vissla and for the International Surfing Association 

The list of judges for the Vissla ISA World Junior Surfing Championship includes 14 referees from nine countries, three chief judges (one Australian, one French and one Hawaiian) and three priority judges (two Americans and one Brazilian), the ISA informed DUKE through its press department.

The 14 official judges include two Americans, two Australians, two Brazilians, two French, one New Zealander, one Spaniard, one Japanese and one South African.

The tournament also has its long-standing technical director, Marcos Bukao Esmanhoto from Brazil, and the new figure of event director, Erik Kramer.

At the technical meeting held yesterday, Friday, it was announced that all round 1 series will have 15 minutes as this is the only way that all the play-offs can be held, a representative of a country that participated in the meeting informed DUKE.
