The final stage of the ALAS tour is now taking place in Punta Roca, there are four categories being contested, one of them has already been defined, the female one, and there are still three to be determined: Longboard, junior and open.

In the Open Miguel Tudela is the leader and has only Alonso Correa as a contender.

According to DUKE's calculations, if Tudela wins his semi-final series against Oli Camarena and reaches the final, there will be no chance for Alonso Correa to win the ALAS continental title. The Peruvian will reach an unbeaten 12496 points, which Correa would not be able to reach even if he won.

In the event that they lose in the semis, Tudela would have 12088 points, which would be reached if Correa wins the championship because it would reach 12418.

Correa will face Francisco Bellorin of Venezuela in his second semi.

Meanwhile, in juniors, Tao Rodríguez is in the lead, but he has Ryan Kainalo hot on his heels.

The category is defined as follows:
-If the leader, Tao Rodriguez, loses in the semis and is placed seventh, adding 1221, Ryan Kainalo catches up with him by winning the event or finishing second.

-If Rodriguez loses, placing fifth and adding 1342, Ryan Kainalo can only reach him by winning the tournament.

-If Rodriguez makes it to the grand final and places fourth, Kainalo can overtake him by winning.

-If he finishes third, Tao Rodriguez guarantees himself the championship title regardless of whether Kainalo wins.

In other words, to be independent, Tao Rodríguez needs to place third here in El Salvador to be ALAS Pro Tour champion.

Finally, in the Longboard category, leader Piccolo Clemente was not present in El Salvador but has a big difference with the rest. The only two surfers who can take the title from him are Martín Pérez and Rafael Cortéz, both if they are in first or second place.

In the event that the two of them do the one-two, whoever wins will define the difference between them and both will displace Piccolo to third place.
