With the conclusion of the three stages of the WSL regular season in Bells, Huntington and Abu Dhabi, the final eight were determined who will be at the WSL Surf City El Salvador Longboard Championships for the third consecutive year defining world champions in a one-day event finals format.
Frenchman Edouard Delpero and American Avalon Gall are the number 1 seeds who will wait after four series for the one that will define the world title.
The first two will be for three people, with only the winner advancing, and then the next three will be one-on-one.
