The third leg of the Rip Curl Narrabeen World Surfing Tour will take place from April 16-26 at North Narrabeen, which is expected to be the perfect left-hander spot that saw Tom Carroll barrel his way through.
Some new things that the series shows are: The presence of Mick Fanning, who returns to the CT for an event saying that so many wildcards have bothered his career that he has no problem doing that to the now CT.
The three-time world champion competed for the last time at the Bells CT where Italo Ferreira ruined his party.
Fanning is facing Ferreira and the young revelation, Morgan Cibilic, in round 1.
Other new additions include the presence of aerialist Reef Heazlewood as a wildcard, and the relatively unknown Dylan Moffat.
Among the ladies, Costa Rican Brisa Hennessy is in an interesting series against Steph Gilmore and Malia Manuel.
The wildcard is former CT turned big rider, Laura Enever.
