Alan Cleland will face Leo Fioravanti and Kanoa Igarashi in round 1 of CT 2, which will take place between February 14 and 16 in Abu Dhabi, and Brisa Hennessy will face Lakey Peterson and Bella Kenworthy, the WSL reported in a press release.

The format is presumed to be similar to that of the Longboard tournament held there, due to the distribution of series, which includes the best left and the best right of four waves surfed per round by each surfer (this has not been officially reported).

What did change in the aforementioned event is that there was no elimination round.

There is no idea whether this will change or not.
