The series of the Uruguay Natural Longboard Festival, stage 1 of the WSL South America longboard tour, were recently published and show 43 entrants from eight countries: Italy, Brazil, United States, Argentina, Mexico, Peru and of course, Uruguay.
The event is set to begin at 8am in Bikini on Wednesday 19 February with good waves forecast.
The women's series have a round 1 with only one series that can be contested with three competitors, while the rest have two competitors each series and they advance directly.
In men there is a series in round 1 that qualifies for the round of 32 with eight series of four competitors.
