Magnitude will distribute $50.000 to the largest players in the Hawaiian season

The best female big wave surfers will receive their cash prize at the Red Bull Mangnitude event, which was launched yesterday through the energy drink brand's platforms.

$50.000 will be shared between the best overall performance ($35.000), the second-place finisher ($5.000) and the best wave of the season ($5.000).

Last year Keala Kennelly took home the top prize, Makani Adric came in second and the best wave was surfed by Emily Erickson with a bomb at Waimea.

The brand raised the total amount to be paid by $15.000, from $35 to $50.000.
