Powerful team travels to Santa Catalina

With a full team and several already qualified for Santiago 2023, the Argentines travel armed to the teeth to the Pan American surfing event that will take place in Santa Catalina, Panama, in the state of Veraguas, from April 21 to 30, the event organizers informed DUKE.

Santiago Muñiz and Lele Usuna's four world titles are joined by the one recently won by Lucía Cosoleto in Puerto Rico.

The first Argentine champion of the Rip Curl Pro Playa Grande, Nacho Gundensen, withdrew from the team at the last minute and chose to compete in the QS 5000 in Saquarema. The Argentine champion Juan Cruz Ruggiero entered in his place.

Argentina placed third in the last Pan American surfing championship that took place in Playa Venao, Panama.
