This is how Argentina is lined up for the ISA Junior World Cup

A strong Albiceleste team is already present in Huntington Beach


The International Surfing Association announced on its website that it will represent Argentina in the junior world championship that will take place in Huntington Beach, California, between October 27 and November 4.

Argentina has a strong team with several athletes accustomed to international events, including Catalina Mercere, who recently won a WSL Pro Junior; Coco Cianciarullo, who is under 16 and has obtained good results in the QSs; Franco Radziunas, who was a finalist in an Open stage in his country; and Juan Cruz Ruggiero, who has been standing out in ALAS events.

Argentina finished eighth in the overall team ranking at the last World Cup in Japan, where it brought home a historic gold medal won by Nacho Gundesen.

Last year, the gold medal in the men's under-18 category went to Argentina. The man in the photo, Nacho Gundesen, made history thanks to that explosive backside.
