This is how Costa Rica is preparing for the junior world championship
Seven surfers with several fulfilling two roles make a complete team for the Ticos in Brazil

The Costa Rican youth surfing team will be present at the ISA division world championships that will take place in Macumba, Rio de Janeiro, between November 24 and December 3.
The Ticos have seven surfers who, as they will occupy more than one role in the tournament, will manage to complete the 12 positions that add up to the final ranking.
Among the members is the outstanding ALAS tour player, Rachel Agüero, who finished runner-up in the ranking, and the outstanding Ethan Hollander, who has achieved podiums in the United States and has shown great progress in his surfing.
As well as young girls like Mikela Castro who at 10 years old will be fighting in her first world championship.

The Ticos are coming off a good 14th place finish in the last World Cup that took place in El Salvador in 2022.
