This is how Ecuador travels to the ISA Youth World Cup
A team of 10 Ecuadorians will try to improve on the historic 13th place they obtained in 2009 and 2014
Ecuador announced the team that will represent the country in the 2018 edition of the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship that will take place between October 27 and November 4 in Huntington Beach, California.
The Ecuadorians are traveling with an incomplete team of 10 surfers, missing a female under 16 and a female under 18.

Ecuador finished 21st in the last World Youth Championships held in Japan. In Azores 2016 it finished 29th and in Oceanside 2015 it finished 18th.
The country's best result in the event was 13th, which it achieved both times it surfed locally in 2009 and 2014.
