El Salvador will be present at the Pan American Surfing Championships that will take place in Punta Rocas between October 4 and 13 with an incomplete team but with several talents.

Julissa Castillos, the 17-year-old who just won the Central American Championship and made it to the finals of ALAS in Nicaragua, has been showing a high level of surfing.

Meanwhile, Ericson Ortiz is another prominent Salvadoran who is part of the team and they are accompanied by Sindy Portillo, the outstanding longboarder who won gold at the Central American Championship last year.

They are joined by young Sophia Ramos and bodyboarder Neftali Pineda.

El Salvador placed 12th in last year's Pan American Games and 15th in 2022.
