Special coverage presented by the Pan American Surfing Association

Guatemala will be present at the 2024 Pan American Surfing Championships that will take place on the waves of Punta Rocas between October 4 and 13.

The Guatemalans will participate with an almost complete team with 14 of the 22 athletes that make up the entire squad.

The team has talents such as Carlos Escobar, who has just achieved a good result at the ALAS in Nicaragua, and Victor Velásquez, who managed to get on the podium at the Central American Championships that took place last weekend.

Guatemala recently placed third in the Central American Games, and in the previous Pan American Games it placed 14th in Santa Catalina and 13th in Venao.
